Turnersee is one of Europe’s warmest bathing lakes, which reaches up to 28°C in summer. The bathing beach Ilsenhof is a public place to relax and recover. Through the generous area with lots of shading trees it is a very quiet place even in peak season. Since a few years Turnersee is a Natura 2000 european landscape protection area. All around the lake there are no buildings, just a natural reed belt and the Karawanken in the back. This makes a visit at Ilsenhofs bathing beach to an unique experience.
